On its way to true epicness, but not yet worth the price.
Im really enjoying this app so far and can see that as the developers add on to it in future updates, this app has the potential to be my number one favorite on the iPhone.
At the moment, however, what I would really like is some work on the Calendar syncing. When I previously attempted it a list of my reminders from previous months would pop up as overdue and would not stay deleted. Every time I reopened the Epicwin app it would sync and have them reappear.
Another few things Id really appreciate is an online account - that way I could sync my progress and to do list between my phone and PC.
I would also really appreciate more character customization - different faces would be great with a future goal of changeable facial features would be amazing. I do understand that to develop an app like this one needs funding, but being charged for avatars really feels like a ripoff after paying 3.00 for the initial app. As I cant think of other ways to go about making profit from this, however (you can easily cheat for gold an XP so I can see thats not an option), its very forgivable.
Ultimately, as I said, I am very pleased to see that the developers are working so hard to frequently update this app and improve it, but in its current state the app is not worth 2.99 and there is no point in purchasing it until more features are added; the gold and loot are unusable and can easily be obtained in the future by cheating.
If you really want an app for experience, just get level me up - it measures in time spent on a task so you dont have to fret about how many points anything is worth.
