Needs an update

Great app it gets boring fast though. It needs to be more interactive & exciting thats for sure. Its still fun tho gives u a small motivation to complete tasks.

Great! More suggestions :D

You guys really seem to consider these suggestions! Can you make it so that we dont have to select the google calendar each time we make a quest? being able to make it auto select would be great.

Fun, needs more functionality

I could see myself using this as my main schedule tool, its that much fun. But the functionality is a tad shallow. Deeper integration with google calendar, like being able to set email reminders, or something other than "all day" events would be useful. I shouldnt have to set tasks in EpicWin just to open Calendar and tweak it to my needs. Im looking forward to updates!

Integrate better for 5 star

This is an iPhone. I schedule all my tasks in calendar and sync with mobile me. To re add them just to play this game is pointless. Integrate with the iPhones calendar and itd be a five star app worth every penny.

Fun with routine

This app is good for starting a routine and keeping it fun by earning XP and gold through your daily chores. It could however use a little more depth, like actually being able to use the items or gold. Or encountering random battles. Even a sexy cut scene after leveling would make it more enjoyable. Leveling is a serious grind fest as well when it shouldnt be. Doesnt matter who you are Im not washing the dishes a thousand times over just to hit level 7.

Great App

Great to-do app with a nice RPG twist, but its in dire need of a nice update. For the update Id recommend the following: 1. To complete a "300 XP" quest you need to hold it for ~5 seconds which, for somebody with an uncontrollable twitch, is difficult to do. 2. Easier leveling. XP required per level (10 - 11 --> Little more than 50,000, which is around 1,500 full 300 EXP quests) is insane. 3. Update the app icon. The one on iTunes is 5000x better than the one on the iPhone. Other then that great app. 4/5!

Fun & useful

Best To Do app for geeks!

Awesome

Love the app and had it for less that an hour

Help

Pretty good stuff guys but Im having a problem where my repeating quests go into the completed quests and never come back. Got some updates coming soon?

Wow

You guys are epic. With this app, I actually get things done! But I just have one small suggestion. As one person said, the higher levels require tons of EXP, so why not just make the EXP setting a numberpad that goes up to 3 digits. Anyways, this app is definitely an EpicWin.

love it but.....

i love this app. its about the coolest i have. Helped me be more productive but please update! What about adding something to spend the coins on like promised?

Almost there

This app is great, a rewards system mixed with a to-do list, it was exactly what I was looking for. After playing for a while though, it gets a little mundane as there is nothing to spend the coins on or even being able to wear the loot you find would be nice. There is not much gameplay and that is the only problem, I would love to see more ways to take advantage of your earnings, it would make this a lot more motivating!!

GTD Fun

I tried to motivate myself to use some of the more expensive GTD apps, I have a graveyard of 9.99+ apps in my iTunes no longer on my phone. This app is fun, simple and if you use Google apps the calendar integration is flawless. The gaming side of this app is just a bonus, it could be sold as a simple task app without it. Adding values (intelligence/stamina etc) and points helps motivate on some less desirable tasks that sit as an annoying unfinished badge numbers on other apps. Would be happy to pay for additional gaming add ons I think always expecting them to be free hurts the app development. Great app, thanks for making it.

Superb

Use for gold would be nice, tho. But hot damn this app is the only task-organizer that Ive actually used for any length of time

Great app, but missing one key feature

...I can see this helping me get organized and having fun doing it. Yet, Would love a "family" version with multiple-user functions (different name/avatar/tasks/reward tracking). Could be especially fun to get kids motivated...

Good concept, poor execution.

It looks alright at first but doesnt have many rpg elements and is a poor organizer/to do list. Doesnt motivate much. Save your money, pass on this and get one of the many free and more functional apps.

Not opening

This looks like a great app and sounds like one too, but mine wont even open. It gets to the screen that says epic win and super mono at the bottom the exits, I tried reinstalling it and restarting my device, I am using a 4th gen ipod with iOS 6, can you give me an wander and try to fix this

I have a suggestion

This is a great app that Ive used off and on for over a year. Its motivational and addictive. A small suggestion that I have is to make it so tasks can have multiple categories such as stamina and strength. Keep up the great work and the updates!

This type of acts works really well if

You are the kind of person who responds to simple meaningless rewards. I know it sounds silly but it is true. I have ADHD and I cant maintain most organizational apps for more than a week. I used this app to set up daily routine tasks (sketching, cleaning) and I get a mini thrill when the little character knocks em down. Its like a gold star sticker on a school report. The point system works for competitive types. I am motivated to do just one or two more tasks on my list to beat my score and maybe level up! That said, I hope to see a mix of task killing animations. Cooler animations for bigger point items would really get me going.

Review

The features included are your to do list, your avatar, level, gold, and items found. The gold and items found, works as a motivational tool. In my opinion the first week with this app was great but as I continued to use it I became less attached it. The app began to feel pointless. However i still do use it. I would highly recommend to get a free app rather than a priced app because most likely just like me you will just end up not using it a lot.
